We Did The Ayatollah

Hey folks
Ah well. They didn't win it. But what a day. The lads did us proud and so did the fans. What a great advert for Cardiff City all over the world. The best is yet to come!
On a personal note, thanks again to everyone who Did The Ayatollah. The song became a bit of a phenomenon with nearly 200,000 hits in just a few weeks and appearances on every local show and ITN, Five Live, Radio 2, GMTV and Soccer AM.
Thanks also for all those messages of support on the wesite, at the live gigs outside HMV Cardiff and on the big day at Wembley. It seems I have a new nickname and may forever be known as Ayatollah Man!
After all the euphoria, a lot of people have been asking about whether I'm doing any live stand-up gigs. Well, we've thrown caution to the wind and booked a gig at the conference theatre at the Cardiff International Arena. It was originally booked for the same night as the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Millennium Stadium, but we had to reschedule as he called me and said he was worried my gig might affect his ticket sales!!! Anyway it's been rescheduled for Saturday 28th June 2008, and I'd love to see you there.
Till then, cheers again.
Ayatollah Man
